Well constructed, durable outer shell, perfect length, super soft liner. Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. My new favorite work out shorts.

Shorts are made of a good material and the liner makes them good for swimming. However, the size through the quads and hips is small compared to other shorts. They fit well on the waist band, but it is tough to get a full range of motion through the shorts, particularly when squatting.

Best shorts I've ever owned

My husband has ordered XL shorts in Black and green and they were always great. He just ordered 2 black and 2 navy. The black fit fine, the navy were skin tight. They are all marked XL. Soffe is sending us replacements in black. Good customer service. Just be warned with the navy. I see that I am not the only one that has commented about this.

These shorts are exactly what I was looking for in a running/workout short. Being an ''old school'' type I do not like shorts that hang down to my knees, these are mid-thigh or higher, giving much more freedom of movement and much lighter.

I bought a pair of these shorts last month just to give them a try for usage while biking and trail walking. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the shorts and how comfortable they were strait out of the box. I wore them on a several mile long hike in 50 degree temps and was absolutely happy. Later I wore them on a 15 mile bike ride and was again impressed. So much so that I got back on Soffe and ordered couple more pairs. They are great shorts and I will happily review them here or anywhere else!!

Never touched the tighty whities in bootcamp after I found the joy in using these alone.

As an XC runner, they are perfect for my uniform and do the best job at what XC shorts do.

Lightweight, not super short and have a decent liner. They're perfect and a great price, too.

Great Material and feels pretty durable, only problem is, the liner is HUGE. So if you're into running shorts with granny panties inside, then these may be your perfect shorts. The sizing up issue may be right for some, except that's what I did and they feel a little to big. Too bad there's no free shipping or exchanges. Better off writing to costumer service for exact measurements. Will be surprised if this review actually gets posted.

The nylon is very durable and the flow superb. Size up, as others have said.

Excellent quality shorts. Sizing-They run very small.

Very comfortable and lightweight, and they look good. It felt almost like I was wasn't wearing anything. The lining works great. It was squat day, so I put them to the test right away, and there were no revealing / embarrassing wardrobe mishaps! I really was able to put up more weight. Legs felt less tight and restricted. They helped with performance.

Love these things, they're short enough that they don't get hung up on my knees during squats. The best part is the liner, it keeps you junk in place without being oppressive!
