The original Ranger Panty, sometimes called "silkies," are fantastic. I wear them regularly for my 3 mile walk first thing in the morning. The inner nylon brief and 2.5 inseam are the perfect combination for ease of movement and comfort. Ordering online is very easy and direct. I wear them once, yeah and maybe twice but then into the wash. A load of the ORPs in cold was and its all done and ready for the next day's walk. Also, during the triple-digit summer here in the Southwest they are a godsend to maintain coolness and comfort.

So damn light you'd think you were wearing lingerie!
I wanted workout shorts that wouldn't pull down in the back when doing leg exercises such as squats. My baggie style shorts with a 7" inseam just didn't cut it even after I cut them up the sides, and I have skinny cyclist's legs! So I bought another brand of baggie/just banging around, swim style shorts, with front pockets. Same result. Being former military, decades before they issued workout shorts, I figured if the Rangers use 'em then they must work. And they do. But good grief I'd almost be embarrassed to wear them to the gym! I wished the legs were longer. Bonus; even though the have a built-in liner I can still wear briefs underneath and they won't show. These are strictly for working out and certainly for running.
