I love the Soffe Classic Heavyweight Short. They're true to size. They don't shrink. They're not static-key like synthetic shorts. Best of all, they remind me of the shorts I wore in high school gym class.

I am female and past middle age and really appreciate these shorts. Live in the deep south where shorts are a must about 8 months of the year. I cannot run around in the little things you offer for young women, but THESE are perfect. They hit at a great spot. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING but most importantly, not the material. As someone else said, in the deep south, polyester just does not cut it, wicking or not. My ONE request is that you try offering these in some more colors -- make a stab at a pale pink and watch them fly out the door. Seriously. I'm talking about THESE shorts, now, not the iddy biddy things you sell to the cheer squad. Thanks!!

These are the only cotton heavy duty pocket elastic waist band shorts left on the market at a reasonable price. I used to buy Champion Rugby shorts but the quality deteriorated and they finally stopped making them. These shorts are ''the good stuff'', Don't change a thing.

I was looking for shorts with pockets and these will work great.What I had to do, however, was take them to my tailor and have them shortened to a 2'' inseam, or to just the length of the pockets. I realize times have changed, but if you're going to make shorts, make them shorts! These were almost nickers!Are you guys afraid of showing too much leg, or have we all become slaves to some fashion designer who thinks men don't like showing off their legs?Like was written about the PT shorts, ''embrace the inseam''!Loved the colors I ordered, including the gunmetal gray. Though it's real color name is French Blue, and they match the silkys perfectly!

Hard to find great quality cotton drawstring shorts w/ pockets. The 9oz. cotton shorts are so comfortable and cool. PLEASE DON'T STOP OFFERING THESE. THEY ARE THE BEST FOR PURISTS. Save the planet, stay with natural cotton. New synthetic quick dry fabrics are great, but in the deep South or where humidity is high, COTTON is cooler.

These shorts are very comfortable and are very well made! You can't seam to find shorts like this anymore. I returned the last fruit of the looms I bought and gave the champions I purchased to charity after I wore one pair once. champions were once very good and less money than Soffe but that was a few years ago.

I had 2 old pairs of cotton shorts with pockets (mine had a rear pocket as well) for 20 years. It was getting to the point I would have to let them go. Then I found these. Aaaaah. You guys pulled it off. You've got a customer for life as long as you keep making these. Thanks, Soffe.

Outstanding quality, Keeps shape an color and last a long time

When polyester seems to be all the rage cotton is still the best. Soffee makes poly look meek. Shorts are so comfortable, fit so well, and much less expensive.

These are just plain classic, comfortable and well made. 100% cotton is hard to find. While I agree nylon and some of the other new fabrics will dry quickly in the dryer, if the humidity is above 85% moisture has NOWHERE to go. I believe all the fancy new expensive fabrics are simply cheaper raw materials and are hyped and billed as cooler with wick away qualities. That may be true in your dryer, but where I exercise in Houston Texas, nothing wicks and nothing dries unless your workout is in a GE dryer. So, don't miss these classy, comfortable, traditional shorts. They are outstanding!

Excellent all cotton heavyweight, long-wearing CLASSIC shorts. Hard to find anymore, but comfort cannot be beat. How do you get along without these? Great comfort for lounging around or a long jog. Deep pockets that hold stuff. Impressive stitching at waist and all over. Elastic waist holds tight. Tough yet soft heavy cotton fabric. Please keep making them!!! Fantastic.
