If your friend had a life-threatening illness, would you help? Would you do everying in your power to make his or her life easier? Would you go out of your way to assist with paying bills, making meals, running erands and household chores?

The Marth Forth For Hope Foundation does just that. As a 501(C)3 organization, March Forth With Hope provides financial assistance to families battling cancer or other life-threatening diseases, so that parents can be at the hospital to care for their children. Stuart and Shelby Stout established the foundation in 2005, following the loss of their 12-year old daughter, Hop Stout, to a rare form of bone cancer. Amoung her countless talents, Hope was a cheerleader - not only for sports teams, but also for anybody who stood strong in the face of adversity. When she found out that there were 155 children on the Charlotte, N.C.-area Make-A-Wish Foundation waiting list in front of her, her wish was that they coudl all have their wishes granted first. When she was told that the funds to do this were not available,

Hope refused to take no for an answer and spearheaded a community fundraising effort with her friends and neighbors that touched the hearts of thousands. This unprecedented fund drive raised over a million dollars and made it possible for the wishes of all 155 kids to be granted.
